Since an early age I was struck with the strong will to help others. When my mother would return home in the afternoons from teaching Aerobics classes and personal training, I noticed that she was sore from being on her feet all day. This soreness that I could see in her eyes spawned my will to help her feel better by giving her a massage. I owe my mother a great deal of credit, as her discomfort led me to the field of Massage Therapy, where I can carry out my will for helping others.
While attending Miller-Motte Technical College, I soon realized that by channeling my passion for helping others by way of massage therapy, I am also able to satisfy my desire of giving back to the community, of which I was born and raised. -Alec Collins
